Clothes Not Drying
If your dryer turns on, but your clothes aren’t drying, there could be any number of things wrong with your dryer. One of the big things could be that the heating elements inside your dryer are not getting any electrical current sent to them. Because this problem usually requires taking the dryer drum out and apart, you should let a professional company, like us, take care of it for you. We will make sure that any heating problems are fixed up quickly so that you can continue to use your dryer.
Clothes Too Hot
If your dryer is drying your clothes, but when you go to take them out, they feel incredibly hot, this can actually be a pretty big problem. While it may not seem obvious at first, overheating in a dryer can be indicative of several issues. One of the big issues that can cause this problem is a lint trap being over stuffed. You can clean the basic lint trap on your own, but if there is lint that has gotten out of the trap, your system could need a deeper cleaning and we are happy to do that for you.
If you run your dryer and notice that there is the smell of burning material coming from your dryer, this can be a very big issue. This problem is usually a result of a clogged vent and it is something that needs to be taken care of immediately. Because lint is flammable and heart is constantly being generated inside you dryer, it stands to reason that lint, trapped in the vent/exhaust could combust. If you begin to smell anything that may signal that this is happening, stop using your dryer and call us as soon as you can.
Not Tumbling at All
If you go to use your dryer and notice that nothing seems to be working; dials aren’t turning on, tumbler isn’t tumbling and nothing seems to be happening at all, this can be a pretty big problem. There first step would be to make sure that your dryer is plugged in. If the dryer is plugged in and you’re still not getting any power, there could be a serious problem in the electrical system.
